In 2025 I entered a contest to design TWU's College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) logo and my design won 1st place and became the official logo. My graphic is a profile of a person and in the space of the brain, is a loose shape of a paint palette, leaf, lightbulb, and the traces that are from a computer chip. These specific icons were chosen because they are recognizable icons of the various programs and the representation of ideas and brilliance of the lightbulb. The choice to make the lightbulb be black was for emphasis on its representation of the pioneer’s brilliance. This design feels timeless and modern while not being overly generic or leaning towards either the arts or the sciences. My experiences and time at TWU has aided me in creating a design that better aligns with the university's brand guidelines.
